How to Play Curve Rush 2
Curve Rush 2 is a racing game with medium difficulty. All games are free and run directly in your browser.
Controls
- Hold (mouse click, Space or the up-arrow key): the ball accelerates, most of all on a downhill. Holding while airborne turns the arc into a dive.
- Release at a crest: the ball launches off the slope. Airtime above the white horizon line is what the score is counting.
- Aim the landing at the face you are falling onto: smooth landings keep momentum and push the bottom bar up; the platform states that crashing or landing poorly ends the run immediately.
- All three inputs do the same single thing, so pick whichever one you can hold steadily through a long descent.

What You Will Actually See in Curve Rush 2
Written from the publisher's own play guide together with this build's screens, and it stays inside what those two sources support: how the score is earned, what the HUD shows, and what to expect before the game takes control.
The three-verb control model
Curve Rush 2 teaches itself before the first run, and the lesson is three verbs, not a stick: HOLD = SPEED, RELEASE = AIR, HOLD = DIVE. On the ground, holding makes the ball roll faster, most of all going downhill. Letting go at the top of a slope converts that speed into a launch. Holding again while in the air pulls the arc down early, which is how you avoid overshooting the next rise. Everything else in the game is a consequence of those three inputs, and the in-game tutorial says the same action is bound to mouse clicks, the space key and the up-arrow key at once.
The score counts air; the bar counts landings
Two numbers move during a run and they measure different things. The large number at the top centre climbs when the ball leaves the ground and crosses the white horizontal line drawn across the middle of the screen — that line is the scoring threshold, so a flat stretch along the ground earns nothing until the ball is above it, while a clean launch off a hill earns immediately. The green bar along the bottom fills from smooth landings as well as from height, and the game's own second tutorial screen spells out the loop: land smoothly or soar high to fill the bar, and when the bar finishes you fly up to a higher level. Chaining jumps matters more than raw distance, because a bounce you survive is both a score and progress.
Levels change the whole scene, not the paint
Promotion is visible rather than announced. A single short run crossed at least three complete environments: grassy hills under a starry sky, then a night layer with constellations, a passing satellite, a UFO casting a beam and the Earth sitting off to the side, then a bright teal daytime range with snow along the ridge lines. The terrain silhouette changes with it, which is the practical reason to keep going — a higher level is a different reading task, not the same one with a new coat. The platform describes this as background and environment transitions plus extra obstacles and per-map special features.
Pickups, springs and the things that are not hazards
Coins are the collectible to chase: the counter at the top right starts at 1000 and rose during play, and the platform says the coins unlock new balls and environments, including legendary balls with their own abilities. Along the track a coiled spring sits on the ground to fling the ball upward, and a record-disc pickup drifts in the air trailing musical notes — grab it and the screen fills with note icons. Those three are things to aim at rather than avoid. The beam under the UFO and the rain streaks are decoration; the horizon line, the slope angle and your landing spot are the things worth steering around.
Reading the HUD before your first run
Top left: sound, a bar-chart button for the platform's own leaderboard, and a gamepad button for in-game options. Top centre: the score for this run. Top right: a crown beside your best number and a coin beside your currency total. Before the first launch the game also pre-fills a player name such as playerOPTv45 with a country flag next to it, which is the platform's account layer rather than anything this site controls — you can rename it, and it is what appears on that leaderboard.
The loading path you will sit through
Being honest about the wait: the game loads from the third-party platform that hosts it, and it opens on a full-screen title splash with a Play button. Pressing that button starts an ad break before the game itself appears — one observed session was served the second of two video ads, with about six seconds left on the counter — then two tutorial screens you dismiss yourself. The tutorial is worth reading once, because the control model above is exactly what those two screens teach. Everything after that runs in the browser with no download, on desktop, Android and iOS.
